Apple, Microsoft And Free Software
Apple, following Microsoft, announced that its iWork suite of productivity applications will be free on the new OS X and iOS devices. Also the Mavericks update to OS X was made free for all users.
Microsoft recently released its Windows 8.1 update to Windows 8 for free. The tech giant has now begun to bundle its Office set of products with Windows RT, and now sells Office as a service through its Office 365 product.

Google’s Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat launch delayed?
If you were like us you may have believed rumours and expected Google to launch the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat next week. However, a rumor claims that Google and LG have delayed the unveiling by a few weeks and rescheduled the launch event sometime in November. The anticipation is killing us!

Nexus 5 And Android 4.4 Kit Kat Rumors
The Google Nexus 5 will be the first device to launch with Android 4.4 Kit Kat. The Google Nexus 5 handset is said to feature a 5 inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will apparently be powered by Qualcomm’s high end mobile processor, the Snapdragon 800, which is a quad core processor and it is expected to come with a clock speed of 2.2GHz or 2.3GHz.
